With a packed calendar full of summer events Liverpool families can enjoy together, there’s plenty to look forward to throughout the holidays.
Kick things off with our latest event – join the Beach Fest from 18th July to 31st August, as Chavasse Park is transformed into the ultimate summer hangout with a sandy beach, family-friendly rides and a packed schedule of live entertainment and events to bring all the fun of the seaside to Liverpool.
Tickle the Ivories Piano Festival is back for the summer from 10th July to 11th September with a selection of new and old pianos, including the Brad Kella-themed piano, inspired by local icon and musician Brad Kella, who won Channel 4’s The Piano. All pianos are free for amateur and professional pianists to play.
If the sun’s shining, pick up a free trail map and explore the historic citywide Minton Tile Trail (17th July-2nd September) or discover the plants and wildlife of Chavasse Park on The Heritage Trail and Nature Trail, before taking a well-earned breather with a bite to eat or iced coffee at one of our fabulous eateries.
If you’re hungry for more, make your move at ChessFest (19th July) and snap a selfie with our Paddington Bear statue before delving into The Old Dock Tour; a 60-minute guided tour uncovering the city’s historic dock beneath Liverpool ONE.
Or go full adventure mode: get behind the wheel at Gravity MAX, turn your world upside down in the confusingly wonderful Upside Down House, or tap into your competitive side with a game of crazy golf at Junkyard Golf.

Keep the whole family energised with a bite to eat at your favourite eatery and enjoy Kids Eat Free offers this summer. Say hello to summer-inspired pizza and bento boxes at Smoke & Dough, fresh sharing tapas at The Real Greek, island flavours at Turtle Bay, and Italian favourites at Zizzi.

Turn your daily walk into an adventure by exploring our dog-friendly stores and restaurants, keep an eye out for water bowls around the centre during warmer weather, and pop into the Information Centre to pick up a tasty dog treat.
