School Lane Hotel, has opened at Liverpool ONE, ahead the hugely anticipated Eurovision Song Contest.
Located in the historic 1850s Russell Building and operated by multi-award-winning Hope Street Hotel, the 17,500 sq ft space has been sensitively restored to create 55 bedrooms over five floors.
Positioned on the corner of School Lane and Peter’s Lane, School Lane Hotel is located at the heart of Liverpool ONE, providing guests central access to both the city and transport links. Lovingly restored to maintain the historic architectural features of the Russell Building, whilst simultaneously mirroring ‘big sister’ Hope Street Hotel’s city chic style, all 55 rooms boast their original sash windows and three-metre-high ceilings, and come furnished with bespoke oak furniture, super-king beds, rain-dance showers and Temple Spa products. The sophisticated reception and lounge area features an impressive glass installation commissioned by acclaimed glass artist Katerina Christou.
School Lane Hotel’s extensive refurbishment and opening ahead of the start of Eurovision, is set to take advantage of the much anticipated surge in national and international visitors to the city.
