Nature Trail

Nature Trail

Our Liverpool ONE Nature Trail (available from the 3rd April) offers kids aged 4 – 11 the chance to interact with Chavasse Park’s natural environment and learn about the flora and fauna that call it home. Young explores can collect their Liverpool ONE Nature Trail leaflet from the Information Centre on Wall Street before embarking on their own exciting adventure.

The trail begins with a ‘warm-up’ on Thomas Steers Way. From here, learners are encouraged to follow the trail map and search for the numbered signposts hidden around Chavasse Park. At each signpost, they will be asked to undertake a task that involves investigating that area: perhaps they’ll be asked how many different bugs they can find, or to identify the species of trees from their leaves.

The Nature Trail is best enjoyed on a sunny day when Chavasse Park feels like an idyllic island in the heart of the city. Leaflets are from the Information Centre on Wall Street, throughout the summer, until September half-term. Come and enjoy this free Children’s University accredited activity. All completed booklets will be given a Nature Trail sticker and a Children’s University stamp when explorers return to the Information Centre.

Happy exploring!
