MediaCity football experience competition terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the MediaCity football experience competition by Land Securities.
All participants in our MediaCity football experience competition (“participants”) will be deemed to have accepted, and be bound by, these terms and conditions.

Conditions for entry

  1. The Liverpool ONE MediaCity football experience competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over but excluding the following:
    1. any employees (and their family members) of Land Securities, and its associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies; 
    2. employees (and their family members) of any of the shops, cafes, restaurants and other outlets located at Liverpool ONE; and
    3. anyone else professionally associated with the Land Securities group or this promotion.

How to enter

  1. To be eligible for the Liverpool ONE MediaCity football experience competition, the participant must fill in the competition form. 
  2. No purchase or other payment is necessary for entry into the draws.
  3. Land Securities has the right to disqualify any participant not complying with, or any entry not made in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  4. Entries sent in through agents or third parties will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will be disqualified. 

The prize 

  1. The prize for the winner of the MediaCity football experience competition will be a football experience package for two at MediaCity, including:

    • An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of MediaCity Studios

    • Photo opportunities and a kickabout on MediaCity’s iconic football pitch

    • A luxury overnight stay at five-star rated The Rex hotel, with breakfast included

    • Dinner for two at The Alchemist, MediaCity

    • Your travel costs covered
  2. Prize elements are subject to availability at the time of booking, including the overnight stay at The Rex, the studio tour, access to the football pitch and dinner at The Alchemist. 
  3. The Alchemist dinner and drinks up to the value of £150.
  4. Travel costs are included. 
  5. All prize winners and guests must be aged 18 or over.
  6. There is no alternative prize to that stated above, and in particular, there is no cash alternative and no element of the prize is transferable.
  7. Land Securities retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of a similar value at its discretion.

Selection of the winner and collecting prizes

  1. The prize is valid for two people only.
  2. The Liverpool ONE MediaCity football experience competition will close at 11.59 pm on 12th July 2026. 
  3. This competition is running across three Landsec locations: Trinity Leeds, White Rose and Liverpool ONE. We will be choosing one winner overall at random by computer systems. The winner will be contacted on their given email address.
  4. The prize must be claimed and redeemed on or before 16th July 2026.
  5. In the event that Land Securities (having used its reasonable endeavours to do so) is unable to contact a winner within 20 days of the draw closing date, then Land Securities reserves the right to draw another winner.
  6. The winner shall be required to collect the prize in person from Liverpool ONE and he or she will be required to present a valid photo ID to Land Securities to verify his or her identity. Land Securities shall provide more specific information about the pick up location when it sends notification of the win.
  7. The surname and county of the winner may be published on Liverpool ONE social media.
  8. Land Securities’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond their control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
  10. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
  11. The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter, its staff, associated companies and their staff or other entrants, which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
  12. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and have agreed to be bound by them when entering this promotion.
  13. This promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of, or in connection with, this promotion.

Use of data

  1. By entering the competition you confirm that Land Securities may use information provided during competition entry to store customer data, and contact the participant by social media, email or SMS about the Liverpool ONE and other new developments, services, offers, news, events and any other information we consider may be of interest to the participant.
  2. Land Securities may also pass on the information to companies within its group of companies so they can contact participants by social media, email or SMS with details of developments and/or activities which may interest the participant.
  3. Land Securities shall not pass on the details of any participant other than as set out in these terms and conditions.
