Liverpool ONE is teaming up with Royal Albert Dock to bring a touch of Hollywood glamour to the city in the lead-up to Radio 1’s Big Weekend – and you’re invited to be part of the show!

From 2–26 May, the Walk of Stars will take over the streets between Liverpool ONE and Royal Albert Dock, featuring over 70 stars honouring this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend performers. From chart-toppers to rising talent, each star marks an artist set to appear at the festival – the perfect selfie spot for music fans heading into a huge month of live music.

The celebration reaches new heights from 23–25 May as the energy builds for Big Weekend. At Liverpool ONE, you can step into the spotlight at our fan-favourite karaoke truck, located at the bottom of the Sugar House Steps on Thomas Steers Way. Whether you’re belting out a ballad or going full pop star, it’s your time to shine!

On the other end of the Walk of Stars, Royal Albert Dock will bring back its iconic Time to Shine podiums in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Building – the very spot where Sam Ryder surprised fans with a spontaneous Eurovision performance. Visitors are invited to sing or dance!

And during the festival weekend itself (24–26 May), both destinations will be buzzing with live entertainment hosted by award-winning radio presenter Leanne Campbell, who’ll be keeping the vibe alive between 1–5pm daily. Get ready to sing, dance, and soak up the atmosphere – whether you’re festival-bound or just feeling the music.
