Missed ChessFest? Don’t worry, there’s more chess fun coming your way!

If you didn’t make it to ChessFest at Chavasse Park, you’ve not missed out completely. We’ve got another brilliant chess event lined up right here at Liverpool ONE.

Come and join us for the Chess Street Challenge on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August, from 11am to 4pm, on South John Street.

We’ll have chess boards out and ready for anyone to jump in. Whether you’re a total beginner, just a bit rusty, or fancy a proper challenge. You might even end up playing against a local club player!

It’s all part of Chess in the City, as Liverpool hosts the 2025 British Chess Championships – so expect a great atmosphere and plenty of people getting involved.
