The wait is over – Sephora is finally open at Liverpool ONE – and it launched in true Sephora style!
On launch day, beauty fans turned out in force to celebrate the grand opening on South John Street, with an unmissable launch party that had Liverpool ONE buzzing.
The fabulous Danny Beard brought glam and glitter, while DJ Billie Clements kept the crowd dancing! There were freebies and giveaways, non-stop music and dancing, and even a crazy hour with Bongo’s Bingo that raised the roof!
800 lucky customers got their hands on an exclusive Sephora goody bag with 500 on launch day and a further 150 on Friday and Saturday!
Sephora Opening Weekend FAQs
Got questions? We’ve rounded up everything you need to know, from goody bags to queueing, to make sure you’re prepped and ready for Sephora’s grand opening!
What time can I queue from?
We do not recommend queuing overnight, as Liverpool ONE is an open air destination, subject to inclement weather. Queuing will NOT be permitted any earlier than 10pm, the day prior to the store opening.
Can I leave the queue once I am in?
We do not recommend leaving the queue, as Liverpool ONE and Sephora take no responsibility for reserving your space. However, if you need to use the facilities onsite or grab a bite to eat, a ticket system will be in place to allow you to re-enter the queue. At 7am on Thursday 22 May, Sephora will present the first 500 queue members with fabric wristbands. If you do not have a fabric wristband given by Sephora, you will not be able to claim a goody bag.
Are there any age restrictions for queuing?
Yes, under 16’s will not be permitted to queue, without being accompanied by an adult. Please bring ID with you.
Are there any accessibility facilities to help my visit?

Will there be any loud noises when the store opens?
Streamer canons will be set off to mark the opening of the store, between approximately 8.50-9.10am. There will also be live acts throughout the day, such as DJ sets with PA systems, buskers and live demonstrations.
What toilet facilities will be available at Liverpool ONE
Our Liverpool ONE information centre toilets will remain open to any Sephora customers overnight. To access these, simply speak to a member of the Liverpool ONE Guest services team at the Information Centre, 5 Wall St. Our toilets include accessible toilet facilities and changing facilities.
Can I bring items with me to queue?
Please do not bring any items with you that you cannot take into the Sephora store. Sephora will not permit items such as, but not limited to, camping chairs, sleeping bags, large rucksacks or any other large items.
Will there be access to bins to dispose of rubbish?
Any general waste can be disposed of via on site bins. Please note, we cannot dispose of any electrical waste onsite, including non-recyclable items and appliances.
What stores will be open for me to access whilst in the queue?
Our stores across Liverpool ONE close at 8pm on weekdays, 7pm on Saturdays, and 5pm on Sunday. Please note our stores will trade 10am – 6pm on bnk Holiday Monday 26 May.
Do you have a space for us to store items we cannot take into the Sephora store?
No, we do not have a space for item storage. Please only bring items with you that you can take with you into the Sephora store.
Will there be security on site?
Yes, Sephora will have security staff managing the queue, alongside our Liverpool ONE security team who will be on site. Liverpool ONE is not responsible for any belongings you have on site.
Will there be a first aider on site?
Yes, there will be a dedicated first aider across the queue.
What happens if it rains?
As we are an open air destination, we are subject to inclement weather conditions, including rain and hot weather. If you are wishing to join the queue, please plan accordingly for all weather conditions, as we do not have an indoor space available for queueing.
When can I get a goody bag?
Sephora are offering goody bags to the first 500 customers who shop with the brand on Thursday 22nd May only. They will issue fabric wristbands to the first in the queue, and without a wristband, you cannot claim a bag. There will be 150 goody bags available on Friday 23 May and Saturday 24 May. No goody bags will be available post this date.

Will there be photography?
Yes, there will be both photography and videography across Liverpool ONE for the Sephora opening weekend.
How do I get to Liverpool ONE?
Liverpool ONE is located in the heart of the city centre, and is easily accessible via train, bus and car. You can find local transport information here – https://www.liverpool-one.com/getting-here/
Will the rest of Liverpool ONE be open for public access?
Yes, the rest of the Liverpool ONE estate will open and operate as normal throughout the Sephora opening weekend. Our stores open 10am-8pm Monday – Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday, and 11am-5pm Sunday. Restaurants open 11am-11pm daily.

Where do I go if I have lost my friend/family?
The Liverpool ONE team should immediately be informed if any friends or family are deemed lost or in a state of distress. You can speak to a member of security in your vicinity, or find the Guest services team at the Liverpool ONE information centre, 5 Wall St.
Will your Liverpool ONE team be on hand to help with any questions?
Yes, our Guest Services team will be on site at all times throughout the opening. They can be found either chatting to the queue, or based in our Liverpool ONE information Centre, 5 Wall St.
Can I charge my phone on site?
We do not have phone charging facilities available at Liverpool ONE.
Where do I go to locate lost property items?
All lost property enquiries should be in writing to info@liverpool-one.com who will can offer assistance.
Can I bring food/drink with me?
Please bring with you food/drink items if you wish. Please note, no alcohol is permitted to be consumed on the premises. All waste should be disposed of accordingly.
Will Sephora accept the Liverpool ONE gift card?
Currently, Sephora do not accept the Liverpool ONE gift card.
