今年夏天，利物浦双年展（Liverpool Biennial）第 13 届BEDROCK 将再次举办，Liverpool ONE ）是主办这次全市范围展览的 18 个地点之一。

策展人 玛丽-安妮-麦奎BEDROCK》探索利物浦的物质和社会基础，展出 30 位艺术家和团体的作品。作为活动的一部分，来自 利物浦城市学院的学生通过一系列工作坊，Liverpool ONE城市学院的学生们共同创作了极具震撼力的装置作品，将种族、移民和归属感等主题融入到整个Liverpool ONE的生活中。

Coming to Liverpool ONE – Bunchlann/Buncharriag (2025) by Alice Rekab

Bunchlann/Buncharriag means Origin Family/Bedrock in Irish Gaelic and explores themes of identity, community and belonging.

Artist Alice Rekab worked with City of Liverpool College students and guest artists to reflect on shared experiences of migration and heritage. Through workshops using dance, storytelling and personal objects, the group explored what identity means to them.

Rekab’s final collage captures these intimate moments – a powerful celebration of culture, connection and self-expression.

Running from 7 June – 14 September, BEDROCK will also feature at cultural landmarks including Bluecoat, Walker Art Gallery, and Open Eye Gallery.
