Role: Assistant Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week
Build-A-Bear Workshop is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to help lead the team in its Liverpool ONE store.
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Workshop Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sales performance, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store. You’ll play a key role in inspiring the team, maintaining brand standards, and creating the magical experiences Build-A-Bear is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and motivate the team to deliver outstanding guest service
- Help drive sales and achieve store targets
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet brand standards
- Assist with inventory management, stock control, and operational processes
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient store environment
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of team members
About You
- Previous retail management experience (2–4 years preferred)
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- A confident leader who enjoys motivating and developing others
- Organised, proactive, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
