Liverpool ONE is hosting the Climate Heroes Exhibition
Liverpool ONE is playing host to the Everyday Climate Heroes Exhibition.
First unveiled at COP26 in Glasgow, the exhibition portrays ordinary people across the UK who are making an extraordinary difference to fight climate change, captured by iconic photographer Rankin.
Politicians, activists and celebrities are the voices most of us hear in the news talking about climate change. Their voices matter, but they aren’t the only ones. Scratch the surface and you’ll find there are unsung climate heroes coming from all corners of the UK.
As part of the Everyday Climate Heroes exhibition, we are looking for Local Climate Heroes in Liverpool City Region. So, what is an Everyday Climate Hero?
We’re looking for the inspirational people who are going above and beyond to make a difference, but who don’t normally receive the headlines or the limelight. They might be volunteering in a community garden, inspiring a love of the natural world, helping kids to eat planet-friendly, helping their neighbours to learn about climate change or maybe have switched their jobs to make a more positive impact through their work.

Everyday Climate Heroes are the backbone of climate action in the UK. They are mothers, fathers, grandparents, school kids and neighbours. They are people like you. So, if you – or someone you know – are making a difference, then fill out the nomination form below.
We are looking for nominations from:
- Individuals of all ages.
- People living from across the Liverpool City Region which includes: Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens, Sefton, and Wirral.
- People who are making a difference but who have not been previously recognised in the press, for example.
- Local Climate Heroes should be comfortable about potentially sharing their story with the media.
