Liverpool ONE reopens

As Liverpool ONE reopens, we encourage people to Be Patient, Be Kind, Be Responsible.

Things might feel a little different on your next shopping trip into Liverpool. Non-essential retail stores are now permitted to open, with strict hygiene and safety measures in place. Most of Liverpool ONE’s stores are now serving customers, with many more to open in the coming weeks.

See which stores are open, and when.

What we’re doing

Due to the sheer size of Liverpool ONE, our open-air layout and wide shopping boulevards, we expect people to be able to move around freely while easily observing the safe 2-metre distancing rule.  Once you arrive you’ll be advised to keep to the left at all times. On the upper level of South John Street, a one-way system will be in place.

Hand sanitiser stations are available, and our team members are wearing face masks and gloves. As well as this, the toilets are open with no charge. This will allow you to use the facilities, and wash your hands as often as you need.

As the number of shoppers allowed in stores is also likely to be restricted, queuing areas are in place. These are signposted and easy to understand once you arrive, but if you’ve got any questions, please ask one of our team.

There are revised opening hours between 10am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday. This allows our store staff to avoid peak times as they travel into work. On a Sunday, stores will continue to open as normal between 11am and 5pm.

Many of our restaurants will be offering takeaway and click and collect services until they’re expected to reopen. This may be in July, subject to Government guidance.

A note on the toilets…

We’re doing as much as we can to provide toilet facilities whilst maintaining essential cleaning in line with COVID-19 requirements. We’re currently one of very few outlets in the city that have opened our facilities, and we have to reduce capacity to maintain social distancing. We hope more facilities become available to the public in the coming days in other parts of the city but continue to do as much as we can to keep our toilets clean and available for visitors. With this in mind, it’s worth taking your parents’ advice, and “go again” before you leave the house!

If you need a little extra help

Be Patient, Be Kind, Be Responsible.

We want people to once again enjoy shopping and to love the experience of Liverpool ONE.

It will be different, and we are all adjusting to a new normal. But the vast majority of people have proved during lockdown that we can do this. We can adapt.

Now is the time for everyone to start supporting the local economy but in a safe way. We will be working closely with our stores in relation to any individual measures which they will be putting in place to protect customers.

We urge everyone who visits us to use common sense, follow the directional and helpful signage which we will have in place across the estate.

Fall in love with that experience of shopping on the high street once again!
