Fancy a chat?
In February 2022, for Time to Talk Day, we invited our brands at Liverpool ONE to set up Happy to Chat tables in their venues. The aim was to gently suggest that if customers needed or fancied a chat, they’d be welcomed. The Happy to Chat tables were only intended to recognise Time to Talk Day, but many of our brands asked if they could keep the signs up all year long – and of course, we were delighted to support them.
2023 brings a fresh new raft of brands involved, including Barburrito, John Lewis, Bierkeller and Cass Art. In an effort to combat loneliness, the tables provide a friendly and inviting space for you to relax and enjoy a conversation with friends, family or even someone you’ve just met.
Take this opportunity to chat to a friend, colleague or somebody you feel may need a little support. It can be difficult to see someone going through a tough time, but you don’t need to be an expert on mental health to help. And of course, ask for help if you need it.
Often, knowing someone is there for you can make all the difference.
