A brand-new retail space inside the Information Centre is now showcasing local artists, and first up is Liverpool-based illustrator Sophie Green.

Known for her colourful, feel-good style, Sophie’s work might already look familiar. From her vibrant piano designs for Tickle the Ivories to her powerful billboard artwork supporting the Liverpool City Region x Homotopia campaign, she’s made her mark across the city.

Now, for a limited time, you can take a piece of that creativity home. Pop into the Information Centre to browse a range of Sophie’s designs, including prints, pin badges, stickers, magnets and mugs!

Expect plenty of playful takes on Liverpool favourites, from glittering Liver birds to Superlambananas and even those iconic seagulls causing chaos in purple bins.

This is just the beginning, too. Liverpool ONE will be inviting a new local artist to take over the space every few months, so there’ll always be something fresh to discover.

Emma Coyle – Thomas Steers Way

 

Emma Coyle is a LJMU Fine Art Graduate from Greater Manchester who specialises in personalised handmade paintings, personalised digital art, murals and window art. 

Inspiration:

Inspired by spending several Christmases in Liverpool while studying Fine Art at LJMU, Emma Coyle captures the city’s festive spirit, creativity, and sense of community. Blending traditional painting with digital techniques in Procreate, her work reflects Liverpool’s joyful energy. The iconic Lambanana — first explored in a project for the LJMU Sports Team — remains a lasting symbol of her connection to the city and its artistic community.

Paul Curtis – College Lane 

Paul Curtis is an independant artist from Liverpool, best known for his street art and murals which an mainly be found all around Merseyside but also across the UK. His work came to public attention in 2017 with his very first piece of street art , “For all Liverpool’s Liver Birds.” Since then, he has created more than 250 public pieces. 

Inspiration:

Paul was commissioned by Liverpool ONE to create a piece of art to cover a large unit on College Lane. This artwork re-imagines the building as a huge water tank, complete with a giant octopus lurking on the sea floor. As people go about their shopping at Liverpool ONE, he watches over them with his beady eye!

Candy Sinclair-Ford – School Lane 

Candy Sinclair-Ford is a Liverpool-born graphic designer and visual artist who creates joyful, expressive work across print and digital. Her vibrant style blends graphic design, illustration, and modern lettering, using bold shapes, bright colours, and hand-drawn typography. Driven by a love for creating, Candy aims to spread happiness through her art – hoping each piece brings a smile to those who see it.

Inspiration:

All You Need Is Love was born of a desire to bring bright, happy energy to this corner of Liverpool ONE. Art can transform any space and take it from ordinary to extraordinary. An injection of massive rainbows and blooming flower bouquets is the perfect way to liven up School Lane for summer and bring a little sparkle to the street.
