About Liverpool ONE Rewards

Liverpool ONE Rewards is a rewards scheme, where you are rewarded for purchases in restaurants, cafés, bars, food to go kiosks and entertainment brands at Liverpool ONE.

You can earn a maximum of £25 cash back until 31 December 2023. Every time you accumulate £40 spend at eligible locations at Liverpool ONE, you will receive £1.25 cash back reward.

You will need to download the Liverpool ONE MyONE app from the App Store or Google Play and sign up to Liverpool ONE Rewards.

If you have already downloaded the Liverpool ONE MyONE app, make sure you have the latest version and sign up to Liverpool ONE Rewards. 

You will need to provide your bank account details to link your credit or debit cards into Liverpool ONE Rewards so that purchases at eligible locations can be counted towards your cash back rewards.

3. Switch to internet data if you are on Wi-Fi, access the Liverpool ONE App, verify Liverpool ONE Rewards content is showing, if so, you can switch back to Wi-Fi.

4. Logout and login back into the Liverpool ONE App.

5. Clear the cache of the App – you can do this by going into the App Settings on your Phone and clear the cache for the Liverpool ONE App.

Every time you accumulate £40 spend at eligible locations at Liverpool ONE, you will receive £1.25 cash back reward. There is a maximum of £25 cash back per user until 31 December 2023.

Liverpool ONE reserves the right to withdraw any cash back reward offers at any given time. Any cash back rewards unlocked by reaching the £40 threshold up until the day the offer is withdrawn will still be paid as soon as possible and at the latest within one month.

Once you have linked your bank account(s) and have started accruing cash back rewards, in order to receive the cash back rewards, you need set a preferred card to receive them. This is to ensure you are getting all your cash back rewards into your desired account and to provide an additional layer of security.

To set your preferred card, go into the profile section of the Liverpool ONE Rewards in the Liverpool ONE app.

Once you are on the Liverpool ONE Rewards section, press the 3 lines on the top left corner and select “Profile”.

On the Profile screen, tap on Add/Edit on the top right corner and add your desired card. Keep in mind that although you might see a secondary account already set up, you need to define a primary card.

When you have set up your cash back method, it can take between 7-30 days for a bank to process the transferal of your cash back rewards.

Linking your cards

By linking your credit or debit card details when you connect your bank account, any qualifying purchases at eligible locations at Liverpool ONE will be accounted for automatically and cash back applied when you reach £40 spend.

You can earn a maximum of £25 cash back until 31 December 2023. Every time you accumulate £40 spend at eligible locations at Liverpool ONE, you will receive £1.25 cash back reward.

You can link as many credit or debit cards as you like, meaning you can use different cards to count towards earning cash back. Rewards are capped at £25 until 31 December 2023 for every customer, regardless of how many cards are registered.

Keep in mind that if you want to add additional cards from an already linked bank account, you will have to unlink that bank first, and relink it in order to select all applicable cards.

Our teams are actively working to ensure as many banks as possible are available. Send us an email to info@liverpool-one.com including the name of the bank that you are trying to link so that we can work towards including it as part of Liverpool ONE Rewards.

Unfortunatelly, at this moment, Metrobank, Starling Bank and Co-Op Bank accounts can’t be linked with Liverpool ONE Rewards. We are working with those banks to add them to the programme soon.

Yes, although the joint back account can only be associated with one customer at a time. If both parties have authenticated their joint account, rewards will only be credited to the customer account that registered first.

Visit the “Connections” section which you can access by tapping on the 3 lines on the top left corner. Tap on “Add a Payment Method +” and link your desired bank account. 

The banks require us to validate all customer account links every 360 days to protect against fraud. If you don’t re-synchronise, we will archive your account. You can ask us to enable it again if you still want to be part of Liverpool ONE Rewards.

Yes. When linking your bank account, you will connect to your bank’s website through a secure portal. This allows for your purchases at eligible locations at Liverpool ONE to be accounted for towards your cash back rewards. The connection process is based PSD2 protocols. It aims to strongly secure the access authorization to your bank accounts via a strong authentication and only for actors approved by banking authorities.

When you connect your bank card, you do not share your access details or bank details with Liverpool ONE; instead, you are redirected straight to your bank website or app in order to be authenticated and to select the transactional data you share with us. This data sharing is limited to 360 days by the PSD2 protocols: beyond this period, you are invited to extend your consent. This mechanism allows your bank to regularly ensure that you are still a user of the service we offer.

No. Linking your bank details does not give us access to carry out transactions. It simply allows us to identify the purchases at eligible locations at Liverpool ONE so that we can count them towards your cash back rewards.

Spaycial are the partner Liverpool ONE is working with to run Liverpool ONE Rewards. It is their system that connects to the banking system. Spaycial uses a connection process based on the PSD2 protocols that governs management of payments in the European Union and have a licence to operate in the United Kingdom. It has introduced the notion of Account Information Service Providers (AISP) of which Spaycial is a part. This allows you to take advantage of new services related to your banking data in a simple and secure way. It allows to strongly secure the access to your bank accounts and only to approved actors like Spaycial. Authentication is systematically done through your bank’s interface, avoiding the communication of your banking identifiers to third parties.

About the cash back rewards

As part of Liverpool ONE Rewards purchases in restaurants, cafés, bars, food-to-go and entertainment brands at Liverpool ONE are considered qualifying purchases which will count towards your cash back rewards.

This excludes retail stores, online purchases, pop-ups, vending machines and withdrawal of cash from ATMs as well as food and drink spaces within retail units i.e. Place to Eat and Joe & The Juice at John Lewis & Partners, W Café at Waterstones and WOW Bar at Harvey Nichols, Beauty Bazaar.

Yes you can. Liverpool ONE Rewards is a separate rewards scheme from the ones operated by individual brands and third parties.

Visit the Liverpool ONE MyONE app and check the Liverpool ONE Rewards section. Go to “My Account” section” where you’ll be able to see the list of qualifying purchases.

It can take up to 7 days for your qualifying bank transactions to syncronise with Liverpool ONE Rewards. If after this time, your purchase at eligible locations is not showing on your account, you can report this within “My Account” on Liverpool ONE Rewards, by tapping on “Missing Purchase” and filling the form with the information required.

You are eligible for cash back for purchases made from the moment you sign up and link your bank account. However, any purchases made prior to the date of joining Liverpool ONE Rewards will not qualify and will not earn cash back.

It can take up to 30 days for a bank to process your cash back transaction. If after this time, your cash back reward hasn’t been received, you can notify us on info@liverpool-one.com with your receipt or copy of your bank statement and our customer service team will then review and update you with an outcome.
