Things to Do with the Kids This Summer!

Don’t know what to do with the kids this August? We know how hard it can be keeping the family entertained, that’s why we’ve put together a handy list of things to do!

Take the kids to Chavasse Park for our Summer of Sport 2017! From 20 July to 3 September, Chavasse Park will be transformed into a sporting paradise. Activities will be open from 10am to 6pm and are guaranteed fun for the whole family, though 3 – 12-year-olds will particularly love them! There are both free and paid for activities taking place, including long jump, a running track, bumper boats, bungee trampolines and more! There will also be workshops every Thursday from the BA Hons Sporting Programme from John Moores University. These drop-in sessions are free with no need to book and will feature exciting activities like hockey, cricket and high jump! As if all of this wasn’t enough, there will also be winners’ podiums so you can pose like Bolt, deckchairs to have a quick rest and sweets and ice cream to refuel!
