Restaurants in Liverpool that you NEED to try

A connoisseur of fine cuisine, in need of a quick bite to eat or craving comfort food? Have you tried the restaurants in Liverpool ONE? We've got something to suit every palate.

As a city, we are proud of our multicultural offering and nowhere is that more obvious than its diverse dining. Especially with the wide variety of Liverpool restaurants available – Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Japanese. You name it we have it!

From a quiet lunch to an extravagant dinner, Liverpool ONE boasts some of the nation’s most loved restaurants as well as a number of independent gems. So let’s begin our journey in to some of the places you need to visit this month.

The Club House

Where better to start than The Club House. It has rapidly become one of Liverpool’s most popular restaurants since arriving in the city last year. Famed for its hanging kebabs and deli boards, The Club House is the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal this spring. The idea of sitting outside with a cocktail in hand lapping up that warm sunshine is too much to handle. Take me there!

Roxy Ballroom

Next stop: Roxy Ballroom! You simply can’t beat their pulled pork burgers and flatbreads and their cracked pepper chips are to die for. There’s even sharers to enjoy, three for £12! This College Lane hotspot is perfect for those stuck for a quick bite to eat. Places just don’t come much better than Roxy. It’s a great location to get the party started with ping pong and pool tables aplenty as well as tasty food which are just too good to turn down.

Yard and Coop

All aboard as we’re heading to Hanover Street and trying out Yard and Coop, our newest Liverpool ONE restaurant. Love your chicken? Try to Coop Kebab or Wrapper’s Delight for a mouth-watering meal with a slight kick to it. Veggie? There’s still plenty to enjoy including the halloumi nuggets, a taste sensation!   Yard and Coop’s cool interior and incredible food offering has made this restaurant THE place to visit in Liverpool.

Red’s True Barbecue

A few doors down from Yard and Coop is MEAT HEAVEN, otherwise known as Red’s True BBQ. We’re just salivating thinking about their barbecue trays and sandwiches. Anyone else just become really hungry? If we had to narrow it down to just one thing to try, it would have to be the Pit Burger. Pulled pork, brisket, bacon, cheese. Praise be!

Turtle Bay

We might still be on Hanover Street but Turtle Bay will make you feel a thousand miles from home. It’s your chance to try food you’ve probably never had before. Our recommendation is the curry, shrimp and mango pot, a real Caribbean delight. If you can’t make it to the sandy beaches of Jamaica or Barbados this year, Turtle Bay might just be the best alternative. It is a fantastic place for drinks after work, there’s cocktails aplenty to be had.

Côte Bistro

Last but certainly not least is the pristine and stunning Côte Bistro located on Paradise Street. You simply must try one of their famed French dishes whether it’s beef bourguignon or poulet grillé. A moment of sheer bliss for the taste buds. Best of all, Côte is open from 8am until 11pm Monday to Friday serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Incroyable!
