Love Bugs: The Big Reveal

Love Bugs: The Big Reveal

To celebrate 50 years of the Summer of Love, we’ve brought some psychedelic art to the streets of Liverpool ONE.

You might have already witnessed one of our Volkswagen Beetles being transformed live into artwork inspired by the magical year of 1967 and there’s more to come! Check out our timelapse of last week’s amazing creation below.

Our final Beetle will be transformed this Saturday and we’re excited to announce the source of its inspiration. We ran a poll on our Facebook page asking you to choose your favourite 1967 song and we can now reveal the winner is… Penny Lane! Artist Krishna Malla will be on Paradise Street from 10am-6pm on Saturday 26 August to paint his interpretation of The Beatles much-loved song. Find out more about Krishna’s art below.

Plus, share a picture of any of our Beetles with the hashtag #SummersHere and you could win an amazing prize package!
