Father’s Day. Like other holidays, it’s a day usually spent exchanging gifts before heading somewhere for a meal. Now, there’s nothing wrong with that but don’t you think your dad deserves an extra special day? That’s why we’ve put together a list of alternative things to do this Father’s Day!
If your dad loves ale, take him and some pals to The Club House on Chavasse Park to try their new Ale Tasting Masterclass packages! Each session lasts 90 minutes and provides the chance to taste and discuss up to eight different beers and ales of your choice with their guru’s!
There are three packages to choose from: Best of Britain, Best of Europe and The History of Ales. Best of Britain brings you a selection of beers and ales showcasing the variety of styles our great nation has birthed, from Porter to IPA. Choose Best of Europe and explore how Germany, Belgium and the Czech Republic compare. And last but certainly not least, The History of Ales offers a fascinating journey through history, detailing how beer came to be what it is today. Sample ales from before modern technology, around the spice trade routes and finally, from the cutting-edge beers that are pushing the boundaries with science today!
