Katumba Halloween Parade

Join Katumba as they drum their way into town with their biggest parade to date!

Katumba will lead a huge Halloween parade through Liverpool city centre on 26 October, with more than 100 drummers participating.

Getting Here

This year the theme is From Darkness to Light: Where the Worlds Meet, creating an ‘immersive spectacle’ using puppetry, visual performance, dazzling light effects and tribal drumming.

The parade will start at 8pm at the corner of Bold Street and Colquitt Street and proceed into town, ending by the Sugar House Steps in front of John Lewis with a grand finale at 10pm.

Katumba is also offering its audience the chance to take part in the spectacle, with lantern making workshops, circus skills and acrobatics classes and more at the Katumba Culture Hub in Toxteth in the weeks leading up to the event.
