Education & Employability

Education & Employability

As the historic site of the world’s very first wet dock and a case study of urban, retail and cultural regeneration; Liverpool ONE has immense educational value.

Every year hundreds of students participate in our guided tours, undertake field work and land use surveys, and take part in our Liverpool ONE Nature Trail and Reading Trees activities.

School Tours & Surveys

Last year, 700 students took part in our school tours gaining an insight into the factors that led to Liverpool ONE’s development and the city’s regeneration. If you would like to make an enquiry about guided tours or intend to carry out surveys that entail speaking to members of the public, email ahead of your visit.

School Choirs & Performances

For a number of years we’ve welcomed schools over the busy Christmas period to perform and fundraise in Liverpool ONE.  We know your performances bring a smile to our visitor’s faces. and would love you to come to Liverpool ONE for  a Christmas performance. To book a performance complete our choir booking form and return it to us using the contact details on the form.

Work Placements

We work collaboratively with a range of city partners to offer meaningful work placement and interview experiences. Through our partnerships we seek to raise the educational aspirations and workplace skills of local people on the edge of employment.

We support Transform Lives’ GiveGetGo volunteer programme and Everton in the Community’s Working Futures by offering work placements to participants who feel ready to enter the world of work. Due to these ongoing partnerships, we, Liverpool ONE Management Company, are unable to offer additional placements.
