Christmas in Liverpool

Help to grow the Mersey Forest

Help to grow the Mersey Forest

You can help to grow the Mersey Forest in lots of ways. But, a really simple way is to plant a tree.

This year, in the lead up to Christmas, Mersey Forest is collaborating with Liverpool ONE to distribute trees to plant at home if you have the space.

We have provided a guide to help you plant your trees in a place and in a way that ensures that it can grow and thrive, helping to lock up carbon and provide a home for wildlife.

You can add a pin to the map below to show us where the tree has been planted. If you do not have space for a tree, you can still get involved by adding a comment about where you would like to see new trees planted.

Across The Mersey Forest millions of trees have been planted over the past 30 years.

You can visit some of these woodlands and find a new spot to enjoy a walk or cycle, or even a run.
