Constructed in the early 1800s to house the Civil and Crown courts, and as a venue space for music festivals, St George’s Hall Liverpool has constantly been at the heart of community life in Liverpool. Widely regarded as one of the world’s finest neo-classical buildings, it is, unsurprisingly, a Grade I listed building and, in 2007, Prince Charles proudly reopened the hall after a £23m refurbishment programme.
