What's on at liverpool ONE
Until 2 June
Four 2.6m high wooden Reading Trees have popped up around Liverpool ONE as part of the City’s Literary Festival ‘In Other Words’.
Designed by artists from The Kazimier, the trees are stocked with books and the public is invited to read on the seats at the base of the trees. People can also bring books from home to exchange at the trees for another that they haven’t read and can donate books for the trees via the Liverpool ONE Information Centre.
A Tale of ONE City
Sat 11 May and Sat 18 May
12pm – 4pm
Also as part of the literary festival, take part in A Tale of ONE City.
Based on a popular parlour game, visitors can contribute three lines to a story and then the next person will continue the narrative. Each author will only see what the previous person has written and so the story will become more surreal and interesting as it progresses with no one knowing what has been written earlier in the story. The final manuscript will be emailed to participants.
