GBK Launches The Winsor Burger
INTRODUCING THE WINDSOR: AN EXCITING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN GOURMET BURGER KITCHEN AND THE ROYAL FARMS IN WINDSOR
Gourmet Burger Kitchen is delighted to announce the launch of THE WINDSOR, their finest burger creation to date, available for a limited time only across all GBK restaurants from May 28th.
THE WINDSOR is the result of an exclusive and exciting partnership between Gourmet Burger Kitchen and The Royal Farms in Windsor, which produce some of the finest beef in the UK. THE WINDSOR is the only burger to be made from The Royal Farm’s world famous Sussex cattle, which are reared in the grounds of Windsor Castle and then hung and aged to ensure exceptional flavour and tenderness. GBK is thrilled to offer it to customers this summer.
In creating THE WINDSOR, GBK Head of Food Tim Molema’s intention has been to create the ultimate burger, which fully reflects the absolute quality of its ingredients – a premium; bespoke offering for all of GBK’s discerning diners. “Working closely with the Royal Farms has allowed us to develop a burger where we are proud to say "It's all about the beef". Only the best grade cattle are selected and the meat is then aged on the bone for maximum flavour. Each burger is fully traceable and made using a blend of chuck steak, short rib and brisket. I recommend eating it straight up with just the mustard mayo to really appreciate the beef flavour”.
THE WINDSOR is 8oz of unrivalled beef, simply served with a delicious English mustard mayonnaise in a toasted brioche bun. Optional smoky chipotle ketchup and lettuce & tomato are served on the side. Because of its particular quality and exclusivity, the Royal Farms’ beef is in finite supply and so THE WINDSOR, like all the best things in life, won’t be around forever.
