MARCUS THE ‘ONE’ TO WATCH AFTER HOMECOMING GIG
X Factor star and Gary Barlow wow the crowds at Liverpool ONE
X Factor finalist Marcus Collins rocked the stage on Wednesday night this week at his homecoming gig in Liverpool ONE. Ahead of the show’s grand finale this weekend, Marcus gave a show-stopping performance to thousands of fans, who lined the streets to see him perform three of his biggest numbers from the show. Returning to Liverpool with him was his X Factor mentor and Take That star Gary Barlow – who witnessed firsthand the support for his star in the making.
X Factor finalist Marcus Collins said: "A few months ago I auditioned for the X Factor, hoping I'd make it through the first round - and now here I am in the final. I can't believe it! Liverpool is an amazing city that has undergone a massive transformation over the last few years and it makes me so proud to be representing it on national television. All I’ve ever wanted to do is sing so performing at Liverpool ONE has been a dream come true. Thanks to everyone for all their support – the crowd has been fantastic and given me a real boost ahead of the final this weekend.”
X Factor judge and Take That star, Gary Barlow said: "Marcus has massive potential to not only win the final, but also go on to be a huge star after the show. I really believe we're looking at the next big thing, and judging by the support of the crowds here at Liverpool ONE, they do too!"

The X Factor final will be aired on Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
