Disney has re-created this classic Dickens tale in 3D motion picture with award-winning director, Robert Zemeckis. The result provides an exhilarating fantasy, taking cinema-goers on a thrill ride through the cobbled streets of Victorian England and high above the snow-covered roof tops.
It’s Christmas Eve and Ebeneezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) approaches the festive season with his usual miserly contempt. After refusing an invitation to spend Christmas with his nephew, Fred (Colin Firth) and reluctantly allowing his loyal employee Bob Cratchitt (Gary Oldman) the day off to spend with his family; Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. The spirits take him on an eye-opening journey of his life, leaving him to decide what his future will hold.
