ONE's Royal Weekend

The Royal Jubilee weekend is set to be a nationwide celebration. Come and join the party at Liverpool ONE from Saturday 2nd June - Tuesday 5th June where Chavasse Park will be filled with fun, food and entertainment plus music from The Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. 

Can Cook Domes
Saturday 2nd June
You can enjoy cooking lessons on Chavasse Park in conjunction with Can Cook. There will also be street entertainment including a Town Crier, Royal Footmen and Knights in Armour plus music from The Kazimier Krunk Band, Grand National Chorus and Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra. Find out more about menus and how to book onto cooking classes here... 


The Big Lunch
Sunday 3rd June - The Big Lunch
Join in The Big Lunch on Chavasse Park with cooking lessons in the Can Cook dome, plus street entertainment from a Town Crier, Beefeaters and Palace Guards. There will also be music courtesy of The Hot Dinners,  Grand National Chorus and Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra and free face painting for the kids! Get more information on The Big Lunch happening nationwide.



Proms in the Park
Monday 4th June - Proms in the Park with The Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra 
This bank holiday presents Proms in the Park at Liverpool ONE. Chavasse Park will be filled with musical entertainment from local bands including The Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra plus many more! See a full list of performers here...



Ice Age Characters
Tuesday 5th June - Family Day
A day out for all the Family – visit Chavasse Park for music workshops with the Liverpool Philharmonic - Find out how to book here. 
Plus other children’s entertainment and games with Build-A-Bear Workshop and free face painting for all children. Kids will also get the chance to meet their favourite Ice Age characters Scrat and Sid! Who will be on Chavasse Park between 11.30am - 4.30pm.

Jubilee Celebrations
ONE’S WISH FOR THE QUEEN 
You are invited to send the Queen well wishes over her Jubilee weekend! 
To mark the Diamond Jubilee, Liverpool ONE is inviting members of the public to write special messages for the Queen that will be hung from a Wishes Tree. From Thursday 31 May to Tuesday 5 June, 2012 three birch trees, called Wishes Trees, will be on South John Street in Liverpool ONE waiting to be filled with well wishes and messages for the Queen.
