A visit to Liverpool would not be complete without a sojourn to the Pier Head with its iconic Three Graces
The Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building are majestic in their own right as landmarks of Liverpool’s rich past. A brand new stretch of canal opened in March 2009, re-establishing the historic connection between the city’s currently underused South Docks and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. For the first time in over a century, boats are able to navigate to the heart of the city of Liverpool.
