Ice Festival Returns

Join us this winter for the return of our enchanting Ice Festival as Chavasse Park is transformed into a winter wonderland from 13 November.

Ice Rink

Grab your skates! Our open air Ice Rink is the ideal destination for some winter fun. Give Torvill and Dean a run for their money and show us your skills. Don’t worry; if ice skating isn’t your forte, we’ve got handy penguin skate aids for children to help them glide a little more gracefully across the rink (open to over-5s). Our Ice Rink has open sides and a roof, so come snow or shine you can enjoy festive fun.

Experience the buzz of skimming along at an exhilarating pace, while taking in the whole view of the Ice Festival (tip: it’s prettiest in the evening!). Feel the freeze in our real Ice Bar! The cool bar features a glittering room of crystal clear sculptures and furniture, all impressively carved from real ice. Prepare to be amazed this year because things may not be as they seem when you walk in. We’ve got optical illusions to baffle everyone that you need to see to believe. Entrance to the Ice Bar also includes a drink.
